“J Shoes”

Sweet November

November is full of lovely colors! And this year, we have been lucky to have mild temperatures, which has encouraged to go for walks instead of sipping hot beverages in a coffee shop!

Lately, I have been wearing this camisole adorned with a fine and delicate lace. It’s a very practical basic to have in one’s wardrobe because this kind of detail enhances every look. You can pair it with a high waisted skirt or jeans, or under a plunging neckline sweater or a cardigan. The effect is always tasteful!

Because it’s fall and I love to be cozy and warm, I chose this chunky knit cardigan. This season, you can find many different styles to choose from in boutiques! There is something for every taste. I opted for this one because I love its collar and its length, which are easier to style for work. Just add a pretty brooch to pin the cardigan’s collar. It instantly looks even more sophisticated!

Cozy

I often fall in love with coats… Too often! And this time, I gave in to temptation! This coat goes with everything, so you may see it frequently! And as I’m going to work all day long in a cafe today, I opted for the comfort of my James Perse pants and for my tote bag that can even fit my laptop! Have a nice day!

Van Gogh

What an amazing place! This urban art site was created in conjunction with the Van Gogh exhibition at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. I was very surprised when I arrived because I realized that from one point of view, the pointillism patterns were blue, and from another perspective, they were red and orange. We had a lot of fun making this photo shoot and we are very happy with the result! I particularly love the contrast between the shades of gray of the outfit and the colors of the street art!

Indian Summer

It’s Indian Summer here in Montreal! My favorite time of the year! It’s your last chance to wear a little skirt or shorts for the last time before the cold weather arrives. During the photo shoot, a ladybug landed on me. I was charmed…. until she bit me! Has this ever happened to you?

Illuminating the Rain

It’s raining in Montreal… And when it’s raining, I like to wear soft and luminous colors to compensate for the gloom. This little top is very simple, but I fell for its trumpet sleeves and for this antique pink which is easy to match. It’s the perfect backdrop to showcase this magnificent necklace that can be worn in many ways: as a bracelet, as a pendant, at the neck or at its entire length. Worn with this blue umbrella from my memorable trip to China, this outfit has everything to illuminate my day!

Touch of Orange on a Grey Day

It’s so cold in Montreal this weekend! It’s a little early this year, but inside I’m delighted to dediscover the comfort of cashmere! I couldn’t resist pairing this sweater with my famous orange bag. Their colors complement each other beautifully and add such a punch to a grey and rainy day like this one!

A Bow, Golden Mesh and Fuchsia Diamonds

I’m so happy to write these first lines for my new blog! Starting a blog is a lot of work and I have been waiting for this fabulous moment for a few weeks … And it’s finally here… so let’s go!!!

I’m always looking for the little details or for an instant crush. And in this case, I couldn’t resist this sweater’s the pretty bow and golden mesh. And to celebrate the end of the summer, I opt for this little skirt which is impossible to miss with its fuchsia diamond-shaped prints, one of my favorite colors!
