“Christine Bijoux”

Christine Bijoux

I have known Christine for many years. I used to help her with her jewelry making. Since then, her business hasn’t stopped growing! I really am proud of her and her team!

Christine uses happy memories to inspire her jewelry creation. For example, the parakeet and tassel earrings are a reference to her childhood bird. The watercolor artist Ariane Savard creates the collection’s imagery! Also, Christine recovers vintage pieces and incorporates them into her works. I was surprised when she told me that the cubic earrings were in fact hand painted American army medals!

This season, her collection is comprised of colorful, feminine, playful and fun jewelry, inspired by travel finds and memories. You will also find classic, romantic, delicate and timeless pieces, decorated with semiprecious stones, pearls and Swarovsky crystals. And all at very good prices! I recommend that you have a look on the website by clicking here, and don’t worry–Christine Bijoux ships worldwide!

Japanese Inspiration

This blouse makes me think of Tokyo… Or perhaps, a contemporary and urban version of the traditional Japanese kimono. The blouse’s shoulder shape is a subtle variation of the kamishimo (the warrior’s outfit), the unique wrapping belt suggests a Geisha’s obi and the heavy 100% silk fabric enhances the blouse’s elaborate cut. An absolutely original concept piece!

Psst! You can find it at 25% off at Chance boutique!

Illuminating the Rain

It’s raining in Montreal… And when it’s raining, I like to wear soft and luminous colors to compensate for the gloom. This little top is very simple, but I fell for its trumpet sleeves and for this antique pink which is easy to match. It’s the perfect backdrop to showcase this magnificent necklace that can be worn in many ways: as a bracelet, as a pendant, at the neck or at its entire length. Worn with this blue umbrella from my memorable trip to China, this outfit has everything to illuminate my day!

Touch of Orange on a Grey Day

It’s so cold in Montreal this weekend! It’s a little early this year, but inside I’m delighted to dediscover the comfort of cashmere! I couldn’t resist pairing this sweater with my famous orange bag. Their colors complement each other beautifully and add such a punch to a grey and rainy day like this one!
